Meet the Team
Jo Wilkes (BA Hons, DET) - Lead Practitioner
Jo Graduated from the University of the West of England in 2012 with a degree in Drama and Education Studies and has been working with young people ever since. She has worked for the Prince's Trust, as a lecturer in Foundation Learning and is currently working with a national youth charity. When Jo was teaching, as well as other subjects, Jo taught performing arts to foundation learners and supported some fantastic personal outcomes. She has had extensive training including Advanced Child Protection, CSE Awareness and recently gained a BSL Level 1 for Front Line Staff.
Jo is incredibly passionate about the benefits of performing arts and the difference it can make to people's lives. It has been a dream of hers to create an inclusive group where people can come along and enjoy the enriching benefits of performance in a safe and supportive environment. "It's not all about being a West End star, it's about benefiting from the enriching qualities the performing arts has the unique ability to offer. I love it and I love seeing the difference it can make for people".
